Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the use of services provided by Gitanjali Travel Agency. By using our services, you agree to these terms.


 

1. Booking and Payments

  • Payment Policy: A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the agreed-upon advance payment. The remaining balance must be paid as per the agreed schedule before the start of the service.
  • Pricing: All prices are subject to change without prior notice until a booking is confirmed and a deposit is received. Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified.

  • Booking Confirmation: A detailed itinerary and booking confirmation will be sent to you via email once the advance payment is processed. Please review this document carefully and report any discrepancies immediately.


 

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellation by the Customer:

    • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the start of the service will be eligible for a refund of the advance payment, minus a 10% processing fee.

    • Cancellations made 15 to 30 days before the start of the service will be eligible for a 50% refund of the total paid amount.

    • Cancellations made less than 15 days before the start of the service are non-refundable.

  • Cancellation by Gitanjali Travel Agency: In the unlikely event that we must cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of all amounts paid will be issued. We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the customer.

  • No-Show Policy: Failure to show up for a confirmed booking will result in the forfeiture of the entire amount paid.


 

3. Car Rentals

  • Driver & Fuel: Unless stated otherwise, all car rental services include a professional driver. Fuel costs are typically included in the quoted price for the agreed itinerary. Any additional travel outside the confirmed itinerary will incur extra charges.

  • Vehicle Condition: Customers are expected to treat the vehicle with care. Any damage caused by negligence will be billed to the customer.

  • Hours of Service: Standard car rental service is for a specified number of hours or a full day. Additional hours will be charged as per the agreed-upon rates.


 

4. General Provisions

  • Accuracy of Information: The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information, including dates, times, and traveler details, at the time of booking.

  • Liability: Gitanjali Travel Agency acts only as an agent for airlines, hotels, transport companies, and other service providers. We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or any other irregularity that may occur during the trip.

  • Disputes: Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Agartala, Tripura.
